Zebra-patterned and navy ottomans accompany African-inspired side tables, where guests can enjoy a signature cocktail while mingling with Malibu locals, or chat in a secluded corner. For a casual dinner, the bar’s curving banquette offers spectacular views from every table, while exotic shell collections and crystal light fixtures complete the scene.The elevator stylistically prepares patrons for the special upstairs experience in a black-on-black palette with antique lighting and a sexy zebra carpeting that envelopes the Manolo-heeled for the ride. Vintage oars, black and white photographs and urns overflowing with coral complement the tufted white leather dining chairs. The downstairs event room has been transformed into the quintessential beach wedding location. A modest beach cottage location has been given new life as a fine dining experience on par with the best LA has to offer, while maintaining the casual beach vibe that characterizes The Sunset Restaurant.
